Canterbury Condex

Hingham, MA

A complete renovation, with all new plumbing, electrical, forced hot air and central air conditioning with multiple zones, new structural beams to level the floors, a new 50 foot by 8 foot wrap around composite deck with stainless steel cable railings, an additional master penthouse in the converted attic with a jaw dropping spa-like bath, separate private living space for the king and queen of the house with a Juliet balcony.  There are two units in this project, the upper unit has 4 bedrooms 2.5 baths with 2,412 square feet.  The ground level unit has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and is 1,444 square feet.

Both units have oversized pantries in the pro kitchens with upgraded cabinets and quartz countertops.

Leather District Loft

We didn't alway do it all.  This is one of the first projects we ever did.  The majority of the project was subcontracted out to Andover Renovation Solutions.  The idea of the layout, the finishes are all copia.

This modern styled loft in the heart of the leather district was converted from a one bedroom one bath to a two bedroom, two bath.  The old growth pine floors were saved and refinished while the new floor plan is laid out making every square foot functional.  

The original kitchen was moved forward to create space for the second bedroom and a full bath.  The master bath was re-configured to create an en-suite providing privacy and luxury. 

Mechanicals, electrical and plumbing were all upgraded to accommodate all the modern amenities including the new central heating and air conditioning with exposed spiral ducts, match the industrial building and neighborhood.

Kitchen Remodel and Modular Master Suite Addition

As and example of thinking outside of the box, looked at this project in two phases.  The first being the kitchen remodel which included opening up a wall, installing new cabinet, building a step-in pantry and installing all new hardwood floors.

The second phase involved adding a master suite.  We used modular technology to add this suite on top of the existing garage.

With a baby on the way we were up against the clock getting this done.  Work included taking out a wall between the kitchen and dining room and putting up a beam in the ceiling to make it flush.  Also, we replaced all the cabinets, added a bar and a customer hutch, turned a picture window with a french door all on the first floor.  Then on the second floor we remodeled the master bath by taking out a wall and the ceiling to create a dramatic cathedral ceiling.  We also installed a linear drain and expanded the vanity into a double.  All the tile work was done by us with heated floors and a heated bench.

One of our most successful projects to date.  The project involved redoing the entire property.  New windows, new roof, new doors...everything.  We even converted the old radiator heating system to a forced air HVAC with central air conditioning.  Great investment for the owner occupied buyers.
